Why we support them:
SOCIAL BUSINESS They are trying to end period poverty in a sustainable way. They are not reliant on donors. They are funded by the customers buying thier pads. 100% of their profits are then used to help others have a better period.
ECO-FRIENDLY Reduce single use plastic by switching to reusable sanitary pads. The average woman uses over 15,000 menstrual products during her lifetime. That’s a lot of plastic!
SUSTAINABLE They are a non-profit initiative. They use all their profits to provide free sanitary pads to girls and women in refugee camps, and also to fund menstrual hygiene sessions in West Africa.
ETHICAL They make sure the people making their pads get a fair wage and good working conditions. They annually audit all thier suppliers and require them to follow the FLA (Fair Labor Association’s) Code of Conduct.
